Masayuki
Shimabukuro is an Eighth Dan in Muso Jikiden Eishin-Ryu Iaijutsu and a Black
Belt Hall of Fame Weapons Instructor of the Year (2006). He is recognized by
the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai as 21st Soshihan in the lineage of the Masaoka line
of Eishin-Ryu. Shimabukuro also received official appointment by the Dai Nippon
Butoku Kai as the School’s International representative for Iaido and Battodo.
Carl
E. Long is the vice chairman and director for the Jikishin-Kai International
and is responsible for the certification of its instructors in North America,
South America and Europe. Long is a five-time recipient of the Dai Nippon
Butoku Kai’s yushu-sho, one of the highest awards granted for the performance
of iaido.
